Storytelling and history programs
When Reserving a Program
Please Keep the Following in Mind
-
Custom programs/workshops are possible, with sufficient notice. I love creating new programs.
-
Programs/workshops will be tailored to the age range of the audience.
-
Multiple programs/workshops can be scheduled for the same day.
-
Some storytelling programs can include artifacts, games, or crafts. (Reimbursement for the craft materials will be part of the presentation fee.)
-
New programs/workshops are added periodically, so return to this site for listing updates.
Fees
Performance/presentation fees are calculated using these criteria. Contact me for a quote.
-
how many programs are requested during a site visit (e.g., 3 storytelling programs in one school day is more than 2 programs, but all programs after the first one are at a reduced price)
-
travel distance required
-
craft material costs
-
whether the program is already prepared or is being developed specifically for this booking
References
References are available on request. Just email me, and I will send contact information for people who would know this type of program best.
What Information Will I Ask for When You Call?
-
your contact information
-
date(s)
-
time(s)
-
location(s)*
-
program(s)
-
participant age(s)
-
number of participants
-
other activities**
-
your ability to provide a sound system, if the space is large
-
equipment you can provide (e.g., 6-foot tables, projectors to link to computers, etc., if a Powerpoint or other large images are a part of the program)
Once the terms are agreed upon, I will send you a contract for you to sign and return. In this way we will both be certain that we are going forward with the same information.
*This includes information on the location(s) within the site. In a school, will programs be presented in a classroom, a library, or the gym? Outdoors, will I be out in the sun or in a tent or pavilion?
**Will other activities be going on in the same building or outside area during the performance or presentation? Will provisions be made to reduce distractions, thus providing the audience with the best environment for enjoying the program?
